ServerDesk is a Discord utility for paid course and cohort communities: welcome, /faq, and /ask → staff. Free for 7 days, then $19/mo per server.

Hosted setup (recommended)

1. Add ServerDesk — open the invite link and add the bot to your server (needs Manage Server). Your 7-day free trial starts then. You do not create a Discord app yourself.
2. Configure — in your server, run:

   /setup welcome_channel:#welcome staff_channel:#staff-help staff_role:@Staff

3. Try /faq and /ask How do I access Week 1?.
4. Your FAQ — email your questions and answers plus your server ID to serverdesk.godinrules@gmail.com. We load them for you, usually the same day.
5. Keep it — after 7 days, pay $19/mo from /help inside your server so payment links to it automatically. A plain Stripe checkout also works if you email us your server ID.

What each command does

• /setup — welcome channel, staff channel, staff role, optional welcome text
• /faq — answers from your FAQ knowledge base
• /ask — private staff thread (or staff channel) for real questions

Permissions the invite will request

When you approve the instant invite link, Discord may ask for: View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, Create Public/Private Threads, Send Messages in Threads. Manage Threads is optional. Mention Everyone is not required.
